Hello and welcome to Loms Galactic Tours. This website has been designed to assist all Star Wars fans across the galaxy to search out the filming locations for many of the featured locations e.g. Tatooine, Hoth, Endor and Naboo!It is a simple guide to show you where, on planet Earth, most of George Lucas's sci-fi trilogies were filmed and give some information on how I got there and some of my tales and photographs to match to the actual film itself.
So, you too could take lunch in the Lars family home or stare out on the dune sea or even have a battle with Jabba the Hut over the Sarlacc pit.
I travelled to most of these places on a budget and managed very well. I also discovered lots more about most sites – you could too.
So now go on search for Return of the Jedi or Attack of the Clones destinations and you never know, one day you too could be in a galaxy far, far away…
" Good… You've taken your first step into a larger World " Ever since 1977 (when A NEW HOPE arrived in the UK ) I, like countless others, was taken to galaxies far,far away and with every new Episode or Expanded Universe adventure have done my best to follow, not only by collecting or going to fan conventions but by actually visiting the Real World shooting locations for the Star Wars movies.
This is what this site is all about, after travelling to Los Angeles in 1999 to see THE PHANTOM MENACE on opening day in Mann's Chinese Theatre with my mates and then just days later bumping into Ray Park in a shopping mall - I thought hey why not combine a great holiday with my love of anything Star Wars.
So,I would like to share with you some of my tales and photos of my travels and give some background information on where these places are and how I got there.
